Sarah is a Director, Choreographer, Movement Director with over 20 years of teaching experience in dance and theatre education. She is also the Founding Executive Artistic Director of Creative Movement Practices, and the mother of three amazing young future artists!

With a passion for nurturing young talent, Sammy McManus has dedicated her career to creating incredible experiences for performers. She spent 10 years in classroom education, where she is dual-certified in dance and theatre, and founded a nonprofit theatre in Houston.
Sammy believes in the power of the arts to build confidence and inspire collaboration, and we can't wait for her to share her vision with our community!

LaPrecious is an experienced educator, certified school counselor, and lifelong dance artist dedicated to supporting students academically, emotionally, and creatively. With a background in dance pedagogy and leadership, she brings a powerful blend of artistry, advocacy, and heart to every space she serves.

Formal Education: BFA in Drama and Applied Psychology

Joshua Nguyen is a professional actor who has lived in Cypress and the Greater Houston area for most of his life. He studied at NYU Tisch and trained at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, earning his degree in Drama and Applied Psychology. He has been apart of productions in both Houston and New York, and he maintains a passion for teaching. He seeks to help students explore their creativity, and grow themselves as artists and people.

Sydney first began dancing at age 3 at Juleigh Holley School of Dance, and has been in love with it ever since. She trained in ballet, tap, jazz, and hip hop for most of her childhood. At age 15, she was accepted into the Humphrey’s School of Musical Theatre to study acting, singing, and tap dancing. After high school, she studied at Texas Christian University where she received a BFA in Theatre Studies. Since graduating, Sydney has taught at multiple dance studios, teaching children ages 2-14. She is beyond excited to be teaching here, and cannot wait to meet all of the new dancers.

Evy Peace is an actress, singer, dancer, and composer originating from the Greater Houston Area. Evy has performed for MMC’s Infamous unit’s (ME)Lanin Fest as a soloist, and Infamous Unit’s Black History month program as a soloist. She has performed “A Christmas Cabaret” and “The Greatest Story Never Told” as part of MMC’s Cabaret and Pop/Rock Performance Lab. Favorite past performances include the Oscar Hammerstein Awards (2019 York Theatre Company) and Marymount Manhattan Holiday Songbook at Lincoln Center. Evy enjoys singing with her friends and drinking all the coffee that she can.

Formal Education: BFA in Dance

Originally from Houston, TX, Reese McWilliams is a dancer, choreographer, and dance educator with a love for all styles and practices of dance. From specializing in Modern techniques, to Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip-hop, and even cultural dance styles, Reese carries a unique blend of knowledge and brings versatility and perspective to class. She currently dances professionally with Ad Deum Dance Company in Houston, TX, bringing artistry to both the stage and the classroom. She is committed to cultivating an environment of encouragement, excellence, and drive in her classes, and prays that her students would strive for the same.

Jackie hae been teaching theatre for the past 5 years in CFISD to grades 6-12. She graduated with her BFA in Theatre Education from Sam Houston State University in 2020 and has been in theatre since she was 11 years old. She has experience teaching in all areas of theatre including musical theatre, improv, stage movement, acting, dance, technical theatre and more. I am so excited to meet all the amazing students who enroll with CSK and to grow along side them while exploring the endless bounds of creativity!

Formal Education: BA in Dance and Economics with a Minor in Theatre Performance

Victoria Camille is an actor, dancer, and writer from the Greater Houston area. She trained at Ann Moody Sill Dance Studio before getting her degrees in Dance and Economics and Theatre Performance minor from Tulane University of New Orleans. She is also an alumnus of the Trinity/LaMaMa Performing Arts Program in New York City. She is passionate about cultivating a safe space for artists to fail, learn, and grow in their creativity. She's excited to join the team at Creative Space Katy!

Melanie Flanagan is a musical theater teaching artist who loves to combine music and movement to create stories with aspiring artists of all ages. From imagination play with kindergarteners, to teen conservatory acting classes, to choreography with senior citizens, Melanie delights in sharing theater arts with anyone who’ll say “yes, and…” She’s been teaching with Theatre Under The Stars in their engagement and conservatory programming since 2019, and developed and led an ensemble class for students with disabilities through TUTS' River program. In 2025 she joined the Alley Theatre's team of teaching artists, combining her love of theatre and science in Houston classrooms and summer camps. She also led the early childhood music program for Vivaldi Music Academy and tutors middle school math and science. Recent credits include composing and choreographing two original plays with the Houston Community College Performing Arts Program. Before she moved to Houston in 2018, she worked with Lincoln Center and The Little Orchestra Society in New York City, creating and managing interactive theatrical experiences for a variety of audiences. She has produced and directed performances across the United States, collaborating with opera singers, movie stars, aerialists, giant puppets, and marching bands. She is thrilled to join Creative Space Katy's inspirational team of teaching artists!

Aili Maeve is a local professional artist, raised in Houston. She received her education from the University of Wyoming, majoring in Musical Theatre and minoring in Dance. Aili has been working in Children's Entertainment & Events for nearly 15 years, providing celebration and imagination to children all over the Houston area. She loves any involvement in theatre and has found success as a teaching artist and choreographer for children's theatrical productions, as well as production and crew work for local theatre companies. Her recent stage credits include: Roger and Hammerstein's Cinderella (Cinderella), Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (Truly Scrumptious) at Main Street Theatre; Narnia: the Musical (Aslan Puppeteer/Reindeer/White Witch U/S), Wizard of Oz (Assist. Director), Gift of the Magi (Della),  at A.D. Players. When she's not at a performance studio, Aili spends her free time at her local figure skating rink.

Ashley Shaunte is a multifaceted creative. The actress, writer, director, fashion stylist, podcaster, and more, is always on the move looking for the next adventure of a transcending storytelling opportunity.
