Ballet Levels 1-6 (Ages 8+ or Completion of Ballet/Tap Fundamentals) 🩰 Building Strong, Graceful Dancers from the Ground Up 🩰 Ballet is the foundation of all western dance styles, and in Levels 1–6 students will develop the essential elements of placement, posture, discipline, and artistry that form the heart of classical ballet technique. Classes are thoughtfully grouped by both age and ability, ensuring each dancer receives instruction tailored to their personal level of development. While some students may progress quickly, these levels are designed to be taken over an average of two years per level to allow for true mastery before advancing. For older dancers, our Teen Ballet classes offer an accelerated track, with extended class times and a faster pace, designed to compress two levels of training into one year. Whether your dancer dreams of the stage or simply wants to build strong, healthy technique, ballet provides the fundamental training needed for success in all dance genres- and we highly encourage every student to include ballet as part of their dance education. 🌟Strong technique starts here. 🌟 Class Length: 50-90 Minutes depending on Age/Level Pre-Requisites: Age 8 or completion of Ballet/Tap Fundamental Class to begin Level 1, and graduation from each level before moving to the next. (Students should expect an average of 2 years per level).
Jazz Technique (Ages 9+ or Instructor Approval) Prerequisite: Concurrent Enrollment in Ballet Technique) ✨Strength, Style, and Versatility in Every Step! In these leveled technique classes, dancers explore a variety of jazz styles while developing flexibility, strength, and proper dance technique. Classes emphasize clean execution, musicality, and progressions across the floor to build both precision and performance quality. Age- and body-appropriate acro skills are thoughtfully introduced in an optional add-on to Jazz class in order to enhance versatility and dynamic range. Classes are grouped by age and ability, and dancers should expect to spend an average of two years in each level before advancing, allowing time for true mastery of strength and style. Whether aiming for the stage or simply seeking well-rounded training, Jazz Technique builds powerful, expressive dancers. Dance with energy. ⚡
Tap Technique (Ages 8+ or Completion of Ballet/Tap Fundamentals) 👞Building Rhythmic, Confident Dancers One Step at a Time! Tap is where coordination, timing, and rhythm take center stage- teaching dancers to make music with their feet while developing strong listening skills and musicality. From Broadway flair to classic rhythms, tap gives students the tools to connect movement with sound in exciting and dynamic ways. Classes are thoughtfully grouped by both age and ability, ensuring each dancer receives training at their appropriate level. Because developing clarity of sound and mastery of rhythmic concepts takes time, students should expect to spend an average of two years in each level before advancing. As dancers progress, they delve into musical theatre–style tap, exploring performance quality, precision, and artistry. Whether your dancer loves the joy of rhythm or dreams of the spotlight, tap builds confidence, coordination, and the ability to truly dance as music. Make some noise. 🎶
